A meal at
Blue Pacific is always a joy. The expertly
prepared sushi is extremely fresh and it is
apparent from the presentation that the chefs
take pride in their work. I have seen a Blue
Pacific sushi chef cut a cucumber into a
paper-thin sheet more than a foot long! The
salmon (my personal favorite sushi) has a firm
texture and a buttery flavor that makes every
bite a delight. And you haven’t lived until
you’ve tried the tempura fried TNT roll.
The regular
menu is full of great dishes from Thai, Japanese
and Chinese cuisines. I recently had a new
item, the roast duck noodle soup, and I
recommend it to anyone who likes duck. The soup
is loaded with large chunks of perfectly roasted
duck, bright green bok choy, and egg noodles.
The soup would be a meal by itself, but you
can’t go to Blue Pacific and not get some sushi.
The ginger garlic crusted shrimp is another
“must try” item.
And to top it
all off – they know how to make a drink at Blue
Pacific! I recommend the Mai Tai – maybe two if
you have a designated driver. It’s full
flavored and full strength.
Blue Pacific
makes even the mall holiday traffic worth
fighting. |

"Blue Pacific restaurant in King of Prussia
is quite simply our family’s favorite restaurant
to dine at. We’ve enjoyed so many meals there
over the years, often accompanied by our teenage
daughters who were just tots when we first
visited! Now that’s a recommendation you don’t
usually get!
At any restaurant you visit, what you want is, quite simply, good food.
At Blue Pacific, that’s exactly what you’ll
get....(click

| "I must have been to 30 plus Chinese and
Japanese restaurants in the Philadelphia area
and none are as fine as Blue Pacific. They have
the best Sushi I have ever had! Very fresh fish
and large portions. The two Sushi chefs, Brian
and Jon, go out of their way to make you want to
come back. As for the regular menu; I have loved
everything I have ever ordered from it.
From Ginger Garlic Crusted Shrimp and Sho Mia,
to Tempura vegetables and the best General Cho's
Chicken you'll ever taste. A great atmosphere
and an excellent clientele. While at the Sushi
Bar I've had the opportunity to eat next to
people form the likes of Randy Wolf to Leslie
Gudel. If you like Asian cuisine you'll have to
try this place!" |

| "I would like to share our experience at
Blue Pacific. We have been dining at Blue
Pacific for about a year now. Every time we dine
at the restaurant we have a great experience.
Not only is the food fantastic, the atmosphere
is very inviting, and the service is fantastic.
The sushi is very fresh and not to mention the
great variety and presentation. We have been to
many sushi restaurants in the area and Blue
Pacific is by far our favorite. If you are not
into sushi there are plenty of other excellent
menu choices as well. In addition to the food
there is a large selection of mixed drinks,
wine, and beer. We love it! We highly recommend
you give it a try!" |

"This new, snappier website reflects the
spirit of Blue Pacific: BLUE PACIFIC is not a
stodgy old place that has a tired Asian menu in
need of a serious nap. Rather, BLUE PACIFIC
represents a totally hip little corner of the
mall--worth coming to by itself, and not just
for mall shopping. Their new menu runs the
gamut, including those marvelous smaller plates
that are so popular nowadays: Steamed Dumpling
Sampler, Soft-Shell Blue Crabs, Shanghai Spring
Rolls--and I can be happy with just this modest
part of the menu that says 'Soups and Small
Plates'!
But hit the 'Wok and Grille' link and you have
an Asian menu that spans gastronomic history
from the traditional (like General Tso's Chicken
or a Japanese Bento box) to the more
contemporary (like Grilled Indonesian Satay
Trio, or Ginger-Scallion Crusted Shrimp--one of
my favorites!).
Press the link for 'From the Sushi Bar' and
you'll understand why so many people who hang
out here order from the sushi bar alone, and
with such incredible variety. Since I usually
eat at the bar, I recognize many people who
order nothing but the sushi--and they still
order something different every time.
But even if it's just for lunch, the 'Lunch
Favorites,' 'Noodles and Rice,' and 'Salads'
each category has its own menu--so if you're
just a little hungry and your friend is in the
mood for a bigger meal, there are so many menus
on this new website that, as they say on the
'Welcome' page of the restaurant, there really
is something for everyone. In fact, the phrase
'something for everyone' is redefined here at
BLUE PACIFIC just for the varieties of tastes!
Last but not least, the link 'Full Bar -
Cocktails' shows you how very special Blue
Pacific is: while many restaurants have a bar
menu that is merely an afterthought, the BAR
MENU at BLUE PACIFIC represents Andrew Hu's
oenological expertise, for only someone with a
passion for wine can come up with these gems
from the vineyard. This truly cosmopolitan wine
list travels from Germany, Austria, California,
Australia, and Argentina, just to name a few.
The thoughtfulness put into this menu (and for
years Andrew worked in the wine industry, in
addition to the restaurant business) really
highlights the hipness of this restaurant! You
don't have to be a wine expert to choose
something--Andrew will help you." |
